We’re always looking to use the best local produce and suppliers at the Bargeman’s Rest. Our menu features all the traditional home cooked pub favourites with great portion sizes.

Soup of the Day: Cream of parsnip.
Pie of the Day: Steak & kidney, served with vegetables & new potatoes.
Curry of the Day: Chicken Tikka or Vegetable Tikka, served with rice & poppadum.
Fish of the Day: Fillet of cod with a pesto crumb, served on IOW plum cherry tomatoes, with salad & new potatoes.
Slow cooked IOW brisket with button mushrooms & baby onions in a rich ale gravy, served with mashed potato & peas.
Pork stroganoff, tender pieces of pork with mushrooms & peppers in a cream & tomato sauce served with rice.
Slow cooked belly pork in a Stowford Press cider sauce, served with mashed potato, peas & crackling.
