We’re always looking to use the best local produce and suppliers at the Bargeman’s Rest. Our menu features all the traditional home cooked pub favourites with great portion sizes.

Soup of the Day: Cream of mushroom & tarragon.
Pie of the Day: Minced beef & onion, served with vegetables & new potatoes.
Curry of the Day: Chicken Korma or Vegetable Rogan Josh served with rice & poppadum.
Fish of the Day: Fillets of sea bream topped with garlic butter & prawns, served with vegetables & new potatoes.
Slow cooked IOW brisket with baby onions & button mushrooms in a rich ale gravy, served with mashed potato & peas.
Minted lamb & pearl barley casserole, slow cooked lamb pieces in a rich red wine gravy with mint & pearl barley, served with new potatoes and vegetables.
Chicken tetzini, pieces of chicken breast with penne pasta & peppers in a creamy tomato & basil sauce, grilled with mozzarella & served with garlic bread.
Slow cooked belly pork in a Stowford Press cider sauce, served with mashed potato, peas & crackling.
