Wedding Hire
The Sail Loft provides an informal yet charming wedding venue in Newport, Isle of Wight, accommodating up to 100 guests.
Available to hire throughout the year, the first-floor function room is ideal for wedding celebrations and is licensed for civil ceremonies, allowing you to hold your ceremony and reception in one convenient location.
The flexible space includes a full bar, dance floor and private balcony overlooking the River Medina and harbour at Little London. The riverside setting also provides a beautiful backdrop for wedding photographs.
A Flexible Function Venue
The Sail Loft’s traditional maritime theme allows you to decorate the room as much or as little as you wish, while our team can help with your arrangements to create a setting that feels personal to your special day.
Our on-site catering facilities offer a range of set menus from £10.00 to £22.95 per head, which can also be adapted to your requirements to create a bespoke wedding menu.
Conveniently located within easy walking distance of Newport town centre, the Sail Loft also has plenty of parking available nearby.

Conference Hire
As well as weddings and private celebrations, the Bargeman’s Rest offers conference hire in Newport, with two conference rooms available for meetings and events.
The rooms have maximum seating capacities of 30 and 60 guests, with free WiFi available throughout the pub and function rooms.
