Live Music this July
The summer is now in full swing, if you’re dreaming of relaxing evenings by the river this month you can expect to enjoy delicious food and live music throughout. Check out our full schedule for July below and get a little sneak peek of some of the acts you can expect to see and hear this month.
JC & Angelina
Wednesday 17th & Wednesday 31st July from 20:30
A brother and sister duo who have been performing both locally and internationally for years.
Their emphasis is old time jazz, country and blues as well as heartfelt ballads. They work as a duo, independently, as part of their five piece band The Dance Preachers as well as The Gramophone Party.
Friday 19th July
Grizzled Skipper are a three piece band consisting of a banjo, double bass and female lead on acoustic guitar. You can expect beautiful soft vocals complimented well with male harmonies. As well as faster tempo banjo playing for some real thigh slapping, hoe-down type fun. Check out a little preview of the type of thing you can expect below.
Saturday 27th July
A very talented young trio who play sets across the Island. Specialising in upbeat traditional jazz and old time skiffle. Members include, Mark Thomas, Banjo/Banjolele and Lead Vocals, Faye Williams on Cornet/Trumpet and Daisy Woodley on the Trombone/Tuba.
